WebMeasure 101 is a web-based service that remotely measures utility usage (electricity, water, etc.) and/or monitors levels of replenishable materials (chemicals, fuel, etc.) and enviornmentals (temperature, humidity, ect.).

It can use either a broadband connection, a telephone connection, or a paging network for telemetry. These, in turn, connect to a data acquisition unit that receives input from the appropriate sensor (dependent upon the application).  The stored data is then uploaded to the web service on either a periodic basis or on demand.
