WebTrack 101 is a web-based personal and vehicle tracking system. Through a web interface, the end user can query the whereabouts of the remote device. The remote device uses Global Positioning Satellites (GPS) to determine it position, and two-way telemetry to communicate that position back to the web service. The position of the tracked person or object is then cross referenced to mapping software to provide a street address. That information is then displayed back via the web. The entire process takes about 90 seconds.
