PMVisuals: What is a WSP?

PMVisuals is a Web Services Provider (WSP). This means we provide web-based services to end users. We provide all of the back office applications, servers, and connectivity to provide these services. We also provide the remote and in-home devices that drives our services.

We differ from Application Service Providers (ASPs) in one important way; we provide our services through Service Provider Partners. We also allow them to fully brand our services.

To enable our Service Provider Partners, we provide a web services infrastructure (WebStructure 101) that handles provisioning, billing mediation, management information, and helpdesk/support.

Our revenues are driven by a revenue sharing methodology. We make money when our partners make money. And because our partners brand and bill for these services, their customers are still their customers, not ours.

PMVisuals is also a Services Wholesaler. Although we do internally develop services and jointly develop services, we also resell high value services. These services come from our Service Provider Partners and possibly from other ASPs/WSPs.

We differentiate those services by requiring them to work within the WebStructure 101 framework. They also must be fully brandable for our other partners.

By adding wholesale services to our internal services suite, we create additional value for the end users and partners alike by providing more choices. It also provides our partners with an additional distribution channel.
